WOOD, John Charles; of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Royal Terrace Nursing Home, Palmerston on Sunday, December 28, 2014 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Sheila (Storey) Wood for 59 years. Dear father of Lynne and Wayne Flewwelling of R. R. # 1 Palmerston and Lori and Gary Flewwelling of R. R. # 2 Drayton. Cherished grandfather of Sarah and Cory Elliott of Salmon Arm, B.C. Travis, Shawn and Kelsey Flewwelling all of R.R. # 1 Palmerston; Ron and Michelle Flewwelling of Drayton, Tom and Jake Flewwelling both of R.R.# 2 Drayton. Great grandfather of Hailey, Nathan, Parker and Wyatt. Remembered by his nieces and friends. Predeceased by his sister Mary Lytle. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home Palmerston on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Rev. Calvin Brown conducted the Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Spring Interment in Derryadd Cemetery.
