Of Mount Forest and formerly of Arthur passed away peacefully at Strathcona Long Term Care, Mount Forest on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Gail Wilson (nee Young) for 29 years. Father of Karen Potter (Mark) of Kitchener, Janice Wilson of Arthur, Bonny Smyth (Kelvin Postman) of Granum, Alberta, Herb Wilson (Alice) of Arthur and Debra Wilson (Howie Turgel) of Guelph, Dan Rooney (Debbie Beach) of Kitchener and David Rooney of Arthur. Grandfather of 15 grand and 17 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his son Harold Wilson. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Monday February 28, 2022. A private family Funeral Service was held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Spring interment in Greenfield Cemetery.
