Wilson, Bill; Peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Fergus, on Friday, September 12, 2008 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Phyllis Wilson of Alma and the late Lillian Wilson (1973). Dear father of George (Suzanne) Wilson of Cambridge, Shirley (Larry) Cudney of Arthur, Helen Savidant of Grimsby, Mary Smith (John) of Arthur, Carole (Scott) Spark of Guelph, Pat (Sherrie) McGaughey of Arthur, Kathleen (Trevor) Hill West Luther Township and Colleen (Matt) Elson of Wyevale. Loving Papa of eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Survived by sisters-in-law Barbara Bunney and Helen Wilson, brother-in-law Brian (Joan) Watkin and mother-in-law Helen Watson. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers George and Orville, father-in-law Pat Watson, grandson Brennan Hill, brother-in-law Derek Watkin, and sister-in-law Joan (Norm) McInnis. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St. Arthur, on Monday September 15, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held from Alma Bible Church, Alma, on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Bill’s son-in-law Trevor Hill officiating. Honoured to be pallbearers were six grandsons with his other grandchildren as flower bearers for their grandpa. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur followed. Remembrances to the Friends of MacGregor Point Park would be greatly appreciated by the family.
