Louis Paul Charles Williams, of Harriston and formerly of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest on Saturday, June 29th, 2019 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Marcella (nee Copeland) for 67 years. Loving father of Anne-Marie Noonan of Harriston, Donna and her husband David Meyer of Mount Forest, and Sheila Burnett-McDonald and her husband Tom McDonald of Harriston. Cherished grandfather of Sheri and her partner Matt, Chris and his wife Jesseline, Lisa and her husband Justin, Jamie, Craig and his wife Roza and Kirk and his wife Heather. Fondly remembered by his many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alexander Williams, Gerald Williams and David Williams. Predeceased by his brothers, Alfred Williams, John Williams and his infant brother James Williams, and by his sisters-in-law Pat Williams and Joyce Williams. Friends called at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Tuesday, July 2nd from 7:00 – 9:00pm, where a vigil prayer service was held at 6:45pm. A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Mary of the Purification Catholic Church, 230 Queen Street East, Mount Forest on Wednesday at 11:00am with visitation at the church prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45am. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Forest. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Knights of Columbus would be appreciated by the family.
