1952 – 2023 Peacefully at home on Thursday, October 19, 2023 Dave succumbed to the disease that had taken over his body. He leaves behind the tools for other talented mechanics to take over where he left off. Dave was predeceased by parents Annie and Vic, brothers Lloyd (Phyllis), Boyd (Judy) Jake and his nephew Craig. Survived by his life partner, Sabine, who was by his side until the end with unconditional love. Sabine’s children Kirsten, Mecki (Nikki) and two step grandsons accepted and welcomed him as their (step) dad / grandpa. Brother of Shirley (Ivan deceased), Paul (Janice), Donna (Jim), Verna (Alex), and sister-in-law Connie along with his nieces, nephews, great and great great nieces and nephews are left with memories to cherish. Dave’s circle of friends and acquaintances was far and wide and his skills and generosity were appreciated by many. As per Dave’s wishes there was no visitation or service. In lieu of this, family would appreciate it if you would help to continue to spread kindness and keep Dave’s spirit alive by taking the opportunity to ‘pass it forward’.
