WHITTAKER, Kenneth R.

It is with profound heartbreaking sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Ken Whittaker on Tuesday July 9th, 2024, at the age of 50. Ken will forever be loved and cherished by his wife and best friend of 21 years Christine. He will never be forgotten by his chosen son Erik Lewis (Jake). Born in Fergus to beloved parents Bob (predeceased 2019) & Dian, Ken was the proud older brother of Kevin (Shona-Lee), uncle to Korbyn and Braedyn. Ken will be missed by Aunt Linda MacDonald (Greg) with whom he had a very special relationship. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law Mary Hack and his father-in-law Bob Hack (Lorna), he will be fondly remembered by Christine’s brothers and sisters Jerry (Jackie), Ami (Jay), Liam (Jenn), Darryl (Kathy), Ken was uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Proud and respected owner of Whittaker Electric; Ken’s loves were his family, friends, his 4-legged buddies Bailey and Zeus and his Victory. He will be sadly missed but will forever ride in the heart of his best friend and riding buddy Jeff Veniez (Kathy), he also loved music and to sing. Ken was there at a moment’s notice for his many friends. He loved with his whole heart and left his mark on so many lives. RIDE FREE UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday July 31st, 2024, from 2pm – 5pm at the Fergus Legion, 500 Blair St., Fergus, ON. Arrangements entrusted to the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel 519-822-0051 /www.wallcustance.com. In lieu of flowers, donations to Karis Disability Services in support of Korbyn Whittaker would be appreciated.
