Wettlaufer, Gerald Carl; Passed away peacefully with his family at his side, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, on October 25, 2009 in his 78th year. Gerald will be dearly missed by his loving wife Trudy. Fondly remembered by his children Chris (Patty), Paul (Cathy) and Sandy Wettlaufer and Don Melanson, Chris (Natasha) Melanson and Jayne (Kevin) Patch. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Zach, Sawyer, Cole, Emma, Michelle, Tyler, Dylan, Donovan, Matthew, John, Alyssa, Matthew, Megan, James and Adam. Also remembered by his great grandchildren. Gerald was raised by Grant and Bertha Griffin of Belwood. His cousins Betty, Wayne, Gary, Donna and Debbie were more like his brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Alma Wettlaufer. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Tuesday, October 27th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Service was conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on October 28th at 11am. Reception was held in the Maple Leaf Room located at the Elora Legion.
