Mr. Ron Wendel passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the age of 60 years. Beloved husband of Lorinda (nee Ponder) for 40 years. Loving father of Rae-Chelle, Jessica, Amanda and the son he never had Taylor Monahan. Cherished brother of Ed Wendel, partner Helen King and Derrick Wendel and partner Paul Portelli. Ron is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. A special thanks to doctors at the emergency room of Guelph General, also the nurses, volunteers of Hospice Wellington who made us all feel at home and Tracey DiPalma and Sharon Beaton for their extensive support. As per his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place. If so desired, memorial donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
