WEIDEMANN, John – John Thomas Andrew Weidemann, of Mount Forest, passed away at Louise Marshall Hospital on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Louise Weidemann (nee Sampson). Loving father of Patricia Hoffele and her husband Jack, and Tom Weidemann and his wife Michelle. Cherished grandfather of Alisha (Adam), Johnathan, Jordan (Ali), Jeremiah (Laura), Simon (Alena), Victoria (Ty), Shannon, Joshua (Tamara), Brooke-Lynn (Nolan), Brodie (Alexis), Blake and Jocelyn. Great-grandfather of Emily, Khymirah, Anuhea and Kadyn. Dear brother of Janet Loughran (Dieter). John will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Kathleen Weidemann (nee Mooney), children Ian Weidemann, Kirk Weidemann, Tammy Weidemann and brother George Mooney. Friends called at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest on Wednesday, December 27th, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A celebration of John’s life was held at the Mount Forest United Church, 175 Queen Street East, Mount Forest on Thursday at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation or VON Canada would be appreciated by the family.
