of Moorefield passed away suddenly on Monday, December 13, 2021 in his 61st year. Beloved husband, best friend and soul mate of Liz (Dobben) “Lizzie” for 38 years. Cherished father of Bob and Jenn Walter of R.R. #2 Moorefield and Katrina and Greg Schnieders of R.R. #1 Priceville. Opa of Austin, Hailey, Madison, Milliscent, Magnolia and Maci. Son of Dicky and the late Elbert Walter. Brother of Bep and the late Jake Vandenberg. Brother-in-law of Luke and Pat Dobben. Jim will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Dave and Rachel Vandenberg, the late Mark Vandenberg, Melissa and Cody Gleeson, Scott and Lindsey Dobben and Sasha and Hugh Shannon and the late Michael Dobben. Fondly remembered by Jan Van Driel, his great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Jean and Lukas Dobben. The family will receive friends at the Moorefield Community Centre, 15 Ball Avenue, Moorefield on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00pm and on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Moorefield Community Centre on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 11:00am followed by interment in Drayton Cemetery.
