Walsh, Mary Teresa; Passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Kenilworth in 1928. Mary Teresa was married to John, the love of her life, for fifty-nine years. Her life above all else was devoted to her faith and family. Her lifelong participation at St. John Catholic Church, daily mass on television and her prayer of the rosary nourished her faith and practice. Her family and friends will take strength from her example. Beloved wife of John Walsh of Arthur. Dear mother of Jerome (Kathy) Walsh of Issaquah, Wash., Marian (Roger) Mainland of Heidleberg, Jane (Gerald) Heffernan of Listowel, Valerie (Brian) Cooper of Arthur, Frank (Tina) Walsh of Woodstock, Jack (Darlene) Walsh of Arthur, Joe (Cheryl) Walsh of Arthur and Christopher (Jennifer) Walsh of Burlington. Loving Grandma of Erin, Robyn, Amy, Michael, Brian, Laura, Tessa, Matthew, Jayna, Katie, Tyler, Michael, Jason, Melissa, Jennifer, Leanna, Allison, John, Jacob, Cassidy, Nicholas, Andrea, Nathaniel and many great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Leone Smith and brothers George, Jack and Jerome Epoch. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Sunday, May 29, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers were said in the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 1:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. John R.C. Church, 131 Georgina St., Arthur on Monday, May 30, 2011 at 10:30am. Father Edward Hinsperger celebrated. Interment St. John Cemetery, Arthur followed. Remembrances to St. John Cemetery would be greatly appreciated by the family.
