Robert ‘Bob’ Wade of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, December 29, 2019, in his 88th year. Loving partner of the late Betty Elliott. Father of Larry & Betty Wade of Harriston, and Glenn & Cathy Wade of Alliston. Grandfather of Candice, Adam (RJ), Jennifer (Hans), Cheryl (Glenn), Krista (Tyler), Stephanie (Darrin), Andrea (Adam), Madelynn, Gabrial, and Olivea, and great-grandfather of twelve. Brother-in-law of Shirley, Edna, Marie, and Madilynn Wade. Sadly missed by Betty’s children Brenda & Brian Gartley, Bonnie & Robert McCourt, Beverley Elliott & Chris Nowland, and Jim Elliott, and their families. Also remembered by Lila Wade. Predeceased by his son Brian Wade, brothers Bill, Ken, Sam, and Norman Wade, and parents Hugh & Ellen (Wilson) Wade. Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday, January 1 from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Funeral service was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Thursday, January 2 at 11:00am. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
