It is with great sadness that the family of Charles Frederick Vince announces his passing on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at the age of 73. Charles will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years Jackie Vince (nee Newton), and by their children Simon Vince (Lisa) and Andrew Vince (Loretta). He was predeceased by their dear son Philip Vince, his brothers Allan Vince and Norman Vince, and his sister Mae Day. He was the cherished Papa of his grandsons Liam, Owen, Tristan and Ethan and his step-granddaughters Hannah and Emily. Charles will be fondly remembered by his sisters Daphne Wells (d. David) and Joan Summers (Steve), his brother Robert Vince (Linda) and his many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Wednesday December 4, 2019 from 7:00 – 9:00pm and Thursday December 5, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00pm with Vigil Prayers at 8:45pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday December 6, 2019 at 10:30am at St. John the Baptist Parish, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Guelph and Area Right to Life or Guelph General Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
