VanDRIEL, Hendrik (Henk) Gysbertus – Of Guelph-Eramosa Township, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 22, 2017, with his family by his side. Beloved husband and best friend of 54 years to Erke VanDriel (nee Verhagen). Loving Dad to Audrey (Keith) McNorton, Marcia VanDriel (John Gyoroky), Andy (Jennifer) VanDriel. Opa/Papa to Jennifer McNorton, Sara (Dustin) Harrietha, Laura McNorton, Kevin VanDriel (Jamie Morris), Ioleen, Bevin and Gabriel VanDriel. Great Opa to Lydia McNorton. Loved brother of Winnie (John 2012) VanderLee, John (Lucy) VanDriel, Jennie (2014) (Ron) Winch. Brother-In-Law of Jean (Bill 2009) Verhagen and Sandra (Jim) Henley (Ralph Verhagen 2009). Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by nephew Scott Verhagen (1989) and Great Nephew Jack Verhagen (2016). Predeceased by his parents Cornelius (1989) and Wilhelmina VanDriel (1990). Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 12 noon until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. Reception followed in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
