Josephine Martina Vandepas (nee Schapendonk), of Mount Forest, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 16th, 2019 in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Leonard “Leon” Vandepas. Loving mother of Michelle Beeris and husband Fons of Holland, Michael Vandepas and wife Arlene of Kitchener, Marian Baker and husband Jeff of Mount Forest and John Vandepas and wife Cheryll of Arthur Township. Loving grandmother of Jason and his wife Eefje, Jessica and her late husband Erik, Jeremy, Laura and her husband Ozan, Dianne and her husband Tim, Candice and her husband Stuart, Jena and her husband Dan, Angela and her husband Frank, Scott and his wife Jenny, and Ashley and her husband Colin and great-grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Sjaan Bergmans. Predeceased by her 12 siblings. Friends called at the England Funeral Home, 294 Main Street South, Mount Forest on Sunday, October 20th from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm, where a vigil prayer service will be held at 6:45pm. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary of the Purification Church, 230 Queen Street East, Mount Forest on Monday at 11:00am, with visitation being held prior to the service from 10:00 – 10:45am. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or St. Mary’s Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
