Of Arthur passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, March 25, 2023 in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Gail (McAllister) for 50 years. Dear father of Jon Van Hout and Sonia Pressacco of Mississauga and Bob Van Hout and Sarah Garrison of Arthur. Brother of Maria and Reg Hammond of Caledonia, John and Beverley Van Hout of Stratford and Tina and Frank Walsh of Fergus. Brother-in-law Jack McAllister of Woodstock. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. A Funeral Mass was Celebrated in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Arthur on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 11:45am. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or Arthur Minor Ball Association would be appreciated by the family.
