Van Beek, Anna; It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Anna van Beek at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton after a two year battle fought with dignity, the cancer took her peacefully. Predeceased by her father Geert van Beek in 2005. She will be greatly missed by her mother Henny van Beek of Brampton, and her sisters and brother Margaret (Theodore) of Elmira,?Claudia (Dick) of Smithville, Albert (Janice) of Fergus, and Teeny (Bert) of Guelph. She will be remembered with great fondness by her 13 nieces and nephews, and 14 great nieces and nephews. Anna was a very kind and giving woman. She loved to spend time with family, friends and coworkers, and believed life was to be lived to the fullest. Friends called at the MARLATT FUNERAL?HOME, 195 King Street West, Dundas on Tuesday, December 29th from 7-9pm. A funeral service took place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 31st at 11am.
