Elizabeth Arthena (Dally) Underwood of Clifford passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Caressant Care, Harriston, on Friday, November 22, 2024 in her 94th year. Wife of the late Kenneth Underwood. Loved mother of Leonard Underwood of Keady, Lorne and Ellen Underwood of Belmore, Marilyn and Mark Hohnstein of Mildmay, Nancy and Gary Becker of Neustadt, Sandra and Pete Weber of Clifford, Graham and Nancy Underwood of Belwood. Dearly missed by 17 grandchildren, Joshua and Kelly Underwood, Carmen and Austin Chalmers, Ethan Ste. Marie, Jennifer and Nigel Van Dyk, Jeremy and Lindsay Underwood, Adam and Katie Hohnstein, Luke and Ashley Hohnstein, Sarah and Stan Lennox, Ethan Hohnstein, Heather and Mike Grenville, Crystal and Mike Turner, Philip Becker, Tracy Becker and Kyle Foster, David and Shalyn Becker, Chad Weber and Julia Sek,. Joel Underwood, and Suzanne and Nate Stewart; and by her 26 great-grandchildren Lyla, Parker, Carson, Jackson, Cole, Kendal, Hannah, Oliver, Ava, Isaac, Owen, Elijah, Clayton, Evelyn, Marshall, Drew, Brynne, Lucan, Blake, Avery, Jacob, Mason, Tinan, Aceyn, Raiden, and Hudson. Sister of Wilbert Dally of Mildmay, sister-in-law of Marion Dally of London, and remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Lyle Underwood in 1995, her great-granddaughter Luna, her brother Arnold Dally, sister-in-law Geraldine Dally, and by her parents Charlie and Eliza (Dunn) Dally. Visitation was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Tuesday, November 26th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00pm with an Order of the Eastern Star memorial service at 8:00pm. The funeral service was held at Knox United Church, Clifford, on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at 1:30pm. The funeral was livestreamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
