TUCK, Tim

A beloved resident of Rocanville, Saskatchewan, met an untimely and tragic end on Thursday, October 19th, 2023. Tim, the youngest of four siblings, was born to Mary and the late Bert, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. On the fateful day of his passing, Tim and his partner, Lynne, embarked on an afternoon of fishing. A beautiful day on the water took an unexpected turn when their boat encountered difficulties. True to his nature, Tim jumped into action, seeking to resolve the boat’s issues. Regrettably, he did not resurface, leaving his loved ones in deep sorrow. Tim had an unwavering passion for fishing, a pastime that brought him solace and joy. His dedication to this pastime was evident to all who knew him, as he would often share his stories of the waters with a gleam in his eye. Tim’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his grieving partner, Lynne, and their cherished canine companions, Fergus and Elora. His mother, Mary, also mourns the loss of her beloved son. In addition to Lynne and Mary, Tim leaves behind his sister, Deb (Chris Ecclestone), brother, Gary (Mary Thomson), and sister, Laurie (Robert Leighton). Their extended families, who cherished Tim’s presence and shared in his joys and sorrows, are equally devastated by his untimely departure. Tim’s ashes will be laid to rest both locally and back in his beloved Saskatchewan, ensuring his connection to the places he called home. A private family service to celebrate Tim’s life will be held at a later date, allowing those closest to him to remember and honor the wonderful person he was. In the wake of Tim’s sudden and heart-wrenching passing, the community of Rocanville and Fergus and all those who knew him will forever remember a kind-hearted soul, a passionate angler, and a dear friend. Tim Tuck’s memory will be cherished, his laughter remembered, and his spirit forever missed. The family would like to express their gratitude to the local EMS and Search and Rescue teams. We truly appreciate their heroic efforts to recover Tim’s body and rescue Lynn from Moosomin Lake and bring her safely back to shore.
