TRASK, Leslie “Les” Bowman, 1935-2016; Of Niagara Falls Ontario, passed away early Good Friday morning, March 25th 2016 in his 82nd year. Leslie, the son of the late Rev. Reginald Trask and Irene (Bowman), born in Binbrook Ontario and attended high school in Fergus. Caring brother to his four sisters, Marie Stoddart of Fergus, Barbara Stewart-Schieck of Elora, Lillian (Bill)Ingram of Ariss and Marian (Bob)Ferguson of Milton as well as dear friend to Mazie Davies of Lions Head Ontario. Predeceased by his three brothers, Donald Ross, John Robert and Douglas Herbert. Leslie was a graduate of the Niagara Falls School of Horticulture, an active member of and volunteer for the Special Olympics of Fort Erie, a volunteer for the Special Needs Assistance Group of Niagara Falls and a Graduate Teacher of Concept Therapy. He operated his own business for many years “Trask Delivery” delivering lost Canadian luggage out of the Buffalo Airport as well as operating his own greenhouse and florist shop in both Brantford and Niagara Falls. He was a member of the Southminister United Church in Niagara Falls and an active member of Clifton Lodge 254 since 1960, which his grandfather John Bowman joined in 1903 and was a life member of. Visitation will be held at The Melville United Church, Fergus, on Monday April 4th from 1-2pm followed by the memorial service at 2pm that same day.
