Thiessen, Ronald; Passed away on May 13th, 2014 at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus at the age of 66. Ron will be deeply missed by his wife Florence (nee: Spray) of Salem. Always remembered by his children Amanda (Hubert) Chathi, Mark (Carrie Roth) Thiessen and Cynthia Thiessen. Dearly missed by his grandchildren Ivan and Karina Chathi. Predeceased by his mother Martha Lozinski and father John Thiessen as well as brother Edward. Fondly remembered by his sister Arlene (Russ) Howald and brothers Frank (Betty), Eric (Linda), Alf (Doris), Doug, Peter (Audrey) and Bill (Lyn) as well as sister-in-law Diane Thiessen. Ron will be remembered by many nieces and nephews and other family members. Visitation took place at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church St, Elora on Monday, May 19th, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm. A funeral service for Ron took place at the Creekside Church – 660 Conservation Dr. Waterloo on Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 at 11:00 am.
