TEN HOOPEN, Jannie – Passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Sunday, January 29, 2017 in her 85th year. Maria Jannie Hendrieka (Hobelman) Ten Hoopen was the beloved wife of Gerry Ten Hoopen, and mother of Janice Ten Hoopen of Listowel, Gerry Ten Hoopen of Elmira, and Joanne and Marcel Proulx of Kapuskasing; and mother-in-law of Maureen Ten Hoopen. Remembered by her grandchildren Justin Geissbuhler, Jeremy Ten Hoopen, Eric and Karina Proulx, Jocelyn and Dean Veilleux, Leah Ten Hoopen, and Jesse and Jamie Crew. Sister of Tinie and Gerry Luesink, Riek and Ben Luesink; and sister-in-law of Annie Hobelman, Sharon Hobelman, and Henk and Willemien Ten Hoopen. She was predeceased by her great-grandchild Ryder Crew, and by her brothers Gerry Hobelman and John Hobelman A family service was held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday, February 1. Interment in Harriston Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
