A few things you may not know about dad… he loved to tinker in his workshop but also built the first house that he and mom lived in. Being in the kitchen was his downtime after work, dad loved to cook and entertain. He created the “Rocker Burger”. He loved all sports but hockey, baseball and golf were his favourites. He was a champion at Nintendo Wii bowling! He loved to be in the gardens and nature. He would spend his winters in the Baja, Mexico where he could fish and be on the water. He absolutely loved Christmas! Yes, we were that family that would be up at 4am opening presents! He was generous and kind and would give honest direct advice when asked. He will be dearly missed. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus. As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to St. Joes Medical Centre, Guelph.
