Spieran, John ‘Jack’ Elgin – of Highland Road, Clifford – passed away at Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday, May 8th, 2011 at the age of 58 after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving husband of Mary (nee Nicholson) Spieran. Dear father and step-father of Janet Spieran of Harriston, Michael Spieran and his wife Jaime of Listowel, Kera McLaughlin and her husband JR of Harriston and Travis McConnell of Windsor. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jayda, Ezra, Cassidy, Sophia, Brooklyn, and Ainsley. He was the brother of James ‘Jim’ Spieran and his wife Judy of Palmerston, Susan Verhoeve and her husband Bill of Walton, and Anna Vincent and her husband Roger of Listowel; brother-in-law of Hugh and Cindy Nicholson of London, Richard and Cheryl Nicholson, and Randy and Nicki Nicholson, all of Kincardine and son-in -law of Elizabeth Nicholson of Kincardine. Jack owned Bramhill Truck Centre in Palmerston and Bramhill North Truck Centre in Owen Sound. Friends may call at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday evening from 7-9pm and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held from Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Saturday, May 14 at 11am.
