Of Fergus passed away suddenly in Revelstoke B.C. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the age of 55. Beloved husband and best friend of Gwen Snowe (Aitken) for 23 years. Loving father of Justin Snowe (Brie Scarrow) and Riley Snowe. Cherished son of Jim and Kaye Snowe. Dear brother of Tanya and Lance Belchetz, Jeremy and Amanda Snowe. Son-in-law of Bill and Joyce Aitken. Brother-in-law of Greg and Brighite Aitken, the late Scott Aitken and Krista Aitken. Proud uncle of Madison, Taylor, Ethan, Luke, Maxwell, Sophia, Jameson, Alyssa, Lauren, Cade, Sam and Wade. Fondly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Allan and Wilma Snowe and Arthur and Elizabeth Ternan. Jeff loved his family and friends. He was a farmer with his brother and father in Mapleton Township. If he said it would be done or fixed, you could count on his word. He had a passion for hockey both playing and coaching his sons over the years. Jeff was an enthusiastic snowmobiler, skier and that is what took him to B.C. His presence and laugh will be missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Alma Community Centre, 51 Simpson Street, Alma on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 6 to 9pm and on Thursday April 20, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at the Alma Community Centre on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2:00pm. Private family interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to Centre Wellington Minor Hockey would be appreciated by the family.
