SMITH, Stewart Lewis; Passed away after a lengthy illness at Grand River Hospital, on February 2, 2015 in his 69th year. Stewart will be tremendously missed by his wife of 43 years Susan (Hunter). Lovingly remembered by his sons Stewart (Paula), Murray (Shannon) and Gary. Fondly remembered by his granddaughters Grace, Bella, Victoria, Carley and Alice. Stewart is survived by his brother Earl (Anita) and his sisters Toots (Helen) Trask and Sherly Weber. Brother-in-law to Lynne (Paul) O’Dwyer, Bob (Sylvia) Hunter and son-in-law to Shirley (Ray) Walsh. Stewart will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Joe & Grace Smith, his brother Howard and his wife Marg, father-in-law Gib Hunter and brother-in-law Mervyn Trask. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in FERGUS, on Thursday, February 5th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Service was conducted at Alma Presbyterian Church, 8 Peel St. in Alma, on February 6th at 11:00am. Private Interment. Memorial donations can be directed to Guelph-Wellington Association for Community Living or a charity of one’s choice.
