Smith, Margaret “Marg”; Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Groves Memorial Hospital on November 16th, 2011. Marg was predeceased by her husband Howard of 55 years (February 2010). She will be lovingly remembered by her children Bill (Heather), Linda Cheyne (Don), Donna Kellendonk (Jamie) and Howard. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Jesse, Jillia and Caitlyn Cheyne, Abbey and Olivia Kellendonk and J.J. Smith. Survived by brothers-in-law Earl and Stewart Smith and sisters-in-law Helen Trask and Shirley Weber. Marg was predeceased by her parents Fern and Jack Murchison and by her sister Hazel. A memorial service was held at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street East, Elora, on Saturday, November 19th at 2pm, with visitation from 12-2pm. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations can be directed towards the Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, cards are available at the funeral home.
