77 of Elora, Ontario passed away peacefully at her home on July 14, 2022, surrounded by family. Mary is survived by her daughter Tracy Bauman (Brad) of Elora and son Trevor Sloan (Amanda) of Guelph. Proud grandmother of Blaire Bauman, and Jorja and Mallori Sloan. Predeceased of her husband and love, Mac. Mary was from a large family, being the second child of 13 in Aylmer, Quebec. Predeceased by her parents James & Edith Polson. Brothers and sisters; Janet Simon (Ivan), David Polson (Denise), predeceased Cynthia aka Bini Hall (Peter), Murray Polson (Lesley), Charlie Polson, predeceased Bruce Polson, Peter Polson, Chris Polson (Natalia), Robin Milks (Mike), predeceased Donald Polson (Monica), Ian Polson (Lisa) and Ken Polson (Vicki). Adored by many nieces and nephews of the Polson Clan. Anyone who met Mary was immediately charmed by her smile and kindness. She was quick to get the coffee kettle on as soon as company arrived and always made her guests feel welcome and at home. Mary touched many lives within the community and will truly be missed. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 2-4PM at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home in Elora. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Centre Wellington Food Bank and are greatly appreciated by the family.
