Simpson, Margaret (Madge) Bryson; Born October 10th, 1915; died May 20th, 2009. Formerly of Brookville, Doagh, Co. Antrim, Northern Ireland. Latterly of Spruce Lane Farm, Middlebrook Road, Pilkington Township, Elora, Ontario, Canada. Only daughter to Robert Andrew (Dec. 16th, 1881 – Dec. 2nd, 1962) and Agnes Anderson Andrew (nee Spallin) (Jun. 26th 1892 – Jan. 6th 1982). Predeceased by her husband, Ernest Simpson (Feb. 28th, 2002) in Castlerock, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland; also by her Grandson, Philip Alan Simpson in Elora, Ontario; and by her son-in-law, Ian Hamilton in Fowey, Cornwall, England. Survived by, and lovingly remembered by all her family, Robert Alan (son) of Elora and Margaret Hazel Hamilton (daughter) of Fowey; Anne (daughter-in-law); grandchildren Craig (Sadiqa), Gillian (Ryan), Johanna, Linze and Shaun Hamilton; great grand-daughter Luka and many relatives in Northern Ireland. Our whole family thank this very caring and compassionate community, the Elora Medical Group, the ambulance staff, the Groves Hospital staff, the CCAC and Red Cross workers (Mary, Vera and Michelle), Lily, Christine, Eileen, her close friends, and the Graham Giddy Funeral Home. A private funeral took place in Elora on May 21st, 2009 at Madge’s request. This was followed by cremation. Interment will take place in N. Ireland at a later date. Special thanks to Dr’s.
