SHOEMAKER, Herb; Passed away at the Wellington Terrace, Fergus on August 25th, 2016 in his 91st year. Will be missed by his wife Wilma. Predeceased by his first wife of 43 yrs Agnes (1992) and his infant daughter Kathleen (1953). Lovingly remembered by his children Betty (Brian) Flowers, Peggy (Tony) Webers, Mary (Dan) McDougall, Craig (Michelle) Shoemaker, Martha (Chad) Ridsdale. Special grandfather to Todd (Crystal), Cheryl, Michelle, Mike (Meaghan), Jason, Jessica, Rachel, Kate, Riley, Cole, Jaeden and Wesley, great grandfather to T.J. and Roxanne. Will be missed by his brother Milt (Naomi) Shoemaker. Predeceased by his sister Elma (Irvin) Musselman and brother Wilfred (Hetti) Shoemaker. Herb will be fondly remembered by Wilma’s children and grandchildren and his nieces, nephews and other family members. There was a Memorial Visitation upstairs in the Wellington Room of the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, Fergus on Tuesday, August, 30th, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A private family burial took place at the Elora Cemetery.
