Obituary

Born in Harriston May 28, 1940. Left this World in Palmerston Aug. 8, 2022 Jim was the only child of the late Glenna Laura Turner & William J Scott. Friend of Helen Shaw, his Dad’s second wife in Jim’s adulthood. Predeceased by his ‘right arm’ & partner in marriage, Patricia Ann Scott (Wilson). 6 generations of Scotts have farmed, Son Bill Scott & Carol (Foerster) continue with their boys, Jim & Janine Scott, Craig Scott & Jessa Ziegler. Daughter Laurie Ann Scott & her beautiful boy, Dylan who predeceased Grandpa on February 3, 2021. Daughter Heather & Rob Munn, Mississauga and their Sons, Kale Johncox & Dr. Melissa Bucking, Lucas Munn, Braydon Munn. Proud Great Grandpa of Harlan Dylan Mumby Clooney & his Momma, Sheena Clooney of NS. Jim is also survived by Pat’s sisters, Catherine Coulter & Wayne Riley and Isobel Bauman. Dad has many friends who are waiting for him including his animal buddies, in particular ‘Boots’. To those who are left to mourn his death, Jim will be missed but I’m confident he would tell you, ‘Keep your stick on the ice & have a little bit of whiskey at 5 or 4’. Interment Harriston Cemetery, 2 OPP Constables attended.
