Of Arthur passed away at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, June 26, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 65. Beloved wife of the late Dan Scott (2018). Treasured mother of Christopher and Megan Scott, Cynthia and Ryan McIntosh, Alexandrea and Matthew Hills and Anastasia and Philip Evans. Precious grandma of Emily, Xavier, Alexander and Violet. Greatly missed by big brother Philip and Roxanne Green. Fondly remembered by her sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Alexander and Denelda Green and brother Peter Green. To honour Denise’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street Arthur on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 6 to 9pm. The Memorial Service was held in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Arthur on Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00am. Private family interment will be held in Greenfield Cemetery Arthur. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Arthur would be appreciated by the family.
