Of Peterborough and formerly of Cambridge and Drayton passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 4 days short of his 87th birthday. Beloved husband of the late Christena “Tena” Schieck (2012). Dear father of Pamela and Ivan Sharp of Barrie, Alvin Schieck and L.M. Landry of Peterborough and Dan and Kim Schieck of Mississauga. Grandfather of Garnet Schandry, Docité Schandry, Rowan Schieck and Devin Schieck. Brother-in-law of Andy and Susan Aitchison and Debbie and Harry Lopers. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Alvin and Marion Schieck and siblings Doug Schieck, Bertha Douglas, Dorothy Potter, Morgan Schieck, Arthur Schieck and Margaret Stewart. To honour Larry’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held in the Drayton Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton.
