Scheerer, Joyce Marie; 1930 – 2014. Passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer at Hospice Wellington Residence, Guelph on Friday, February 28, 2014, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of 58 years of the late Walter Scheerer (2008). Proud mother of Pam Lovell, Cathy Armstrong (Andy), Lori Zabielski (Ed), Terrie Theaker (Kevin) and Mark Scheerer. Joyce was gifted with 12 grandchildren: Matthew, Brad, Amanda, Clay, Ian, Jamie, Carrie, Beckie, Cassie, Chelsie, Samantha, Quinn; and 5 great grandchildren Owain, Claire, Caleb, Kyran and Everleigh. Joyce will also be missed by siblings: (her twin) Jean, Shirley, Richard and Allan. Friends called at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Tuesday, March 4, (from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.). Funeral Service was in the chapel on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Reception followed service. Interment at Elmira Union Cemetery.
