Samuel, Effie Manson (McTavish); Peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Tuesday April 29, 2008 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Keith Samuel of Fergus, formerly of Gordonville. Dear mother of David and Betty-Anne Samuel, Charmayne and Don Crow, Gina-Marie and Brian Henry and Jack Samuel(1981). Loving grandma of Jennifer(Geoff) Reed, Aaron (Cheryl) Brunkard, Chris (Dana) Samuel, Kevin (Crystal) Samuel, Derek (Wendy) Brunkard, Jeffrey Henry and Justin Henry. Survived by sisters Norma (Vernon) McLean and Dorothy(Ivan) Fair and brother Donald McTavish. Predeceased by brothers Jack and Ken McTavish and sisters Florence McTavish and Iva Martin and son-in-law Bryan Brunkard. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Thursday May 01, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday May 02, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church 149 Frederick St., Arthur on Saturday May 03, 2008 at 11am. The Reverend Dr. Brice Martin and the Reverend Dr. Walter Allum officiated. Following the interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur everyone was invited back to St. Andrew’s Church, Arthur where a lovely luncheon was prepared and served by the ladies of St. Andrew’s Church, Gordonville. Remembrances to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Gordonville or the Oncology Department, Sick Children’s Hospital, Toronto would be greatly appreciated by the family.
