With his loving wife by his side, Bryan Robert Ross passed away peacefully on August 22, 2024. Bryan is predeceased by his parents, James and Dorothy, and his brother Kenneth (Lois). The family that was created over 61 years with his wife and best friend Marilyn (née Moore) meant everything to Bryan. He leaves behind his devoted children Steven (Désirée), Catherine (Frank – deceased), Patricia (John) and Eileen (Brandon). Grandpa will be missed by his 11 grandchildren, Cassidy, Matthew, Connor, Ryan, Nicole, Olivia, Heath, Colleen, Brody, Luke and darling Sydney. Bryan was also a treasured brother-in-law and uncle, who will be remembered with great fondness. During his life Bryan made many friends who became like family. Family get togethers were marked, to the very end, by laughter, jokes, and the spirit of friendly competition. Bryan loved to play backgammon, billiards, cards and any game that brought people together. He spent many hours this way, bonding with loved-ones. A lover of music and performing, Bryan generously gave his time and talents to many different bands and choirs throughout his life. He passed on this love of music to his children and grandchildren. Our family will be forever grateful for the care that Bryan received at Groves Memorial Hospital, and by the Bayshore Nurses and Piece of Mind PSWs. A Funeral Mass took place at St. Joseph’s Church, 760 St. David Street North, Fergus, at 11:00am on Wednesday August 28, 2024. Prior to the Mass, the family were in attendance to greet those wishing to celebrate Bryan’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Groves Memorial Hospital, or the charity of your choosing, would be gratefully accepted.
