With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Daniel William Rooney, on April 5th in Airdrie, Alberta. Danny was predeceased by his mother Dianne Eccles, grandparents, Bob and Grace Eccles and Bev and Ida Rooney, Aunt and Uncle, John and Clara Thomson, and cousins Kim and Christopher. Danny is survived by his father William Rooney (Marg and Family), brother Derek (Geryl-Lynn), and sister Heather Pequin (Randy), his son Josef (Leigh) and his grandchildren Judah and Jack, his niece and nephew Richele Charrois (Carson), Riley Pequin (Daniella) and his great niece and nephew, Ava Dianne, and CJ. Danny is also survived by his Aunt and Uncle, Ralph and Jean Rooney and cousins and their families, Shane (Laura), Michelle, Colleen (Todd). Danny had lifelong friends that always stood by his side, and we want to thank those friends – we know you will miss him too. A private celebration of life for Danny will be held for family and close friends at a later date. Go Leafs Go! We love you Danny, rest in peace.
