Obituary

Passed away peacefully Saturday, January 11, 2020 at GMCH surrounded by his family, after a long and courageous battle against Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP). Loved & missed by his wife Diane (Whittaker), loving father of Brenda (Murray) Jordan of Elora, Robert (Lindsay) Ronald of Fergus. Proud Papa of Payton (Kris) Ronald of Fergus, Nicholas & Victoria Jordan of Elora, Brooke & Carter Ronald of Guelph, Brianna, Logan & Paris Ronald of Georgina. Great Grandfather to Dimitri & Rosalie. Brother of Bob Ronald (Joan) of Ingleside & Bruce Ronald of Owen Sound. Predeceased by parents Milt & Phyllis Ronald of Fergus. Bryon was a well known Realtor in Fergus for many years & was well known as the goalie for the Fergus Thistle Lacrosse team in his younger years. Bryon was also a proud member of the 1965 team that won the Presidents Cup. In 1986 Bryon was inducted into the Fergus Sports Hall of Fame. We will miss you Bryon for your joy of life & your great infectious laugh. We would like to thank our PSW’s from Closing the Gap (Richard, Craig & Deb) for their wonderful care of Bryon over the last 4 years. You are angels. Also special thanks to Dr. Roach for his support and exceptional care of Bryon while he was at home and in the hospital. At Bryon’s request, cremation has taken place & a private ceremony will take place at a later date. Donations to Groves Memorial Community Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
