Roloson, Lester of Guelph and formerly of Palmerston – at Royal Terrace, Palmerston on Friday, July 11, 2008 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Iva Roloson for 66 years and dear father of Carol Ann Henderson and her husband Terry and John Roloson and his wife Faye, all in Cambridge. Remembered by his grandchildren Michelle Brook and her husband Tim, Angela Leatherdale and her husband Jason, Shelby Roloson and Mariah Roloson, by his great-grandson Tyler Brook and by his sister-in-law Norma Jean Dickhout of Dunneville. Predeceased by his son Paul Roloson, by his parents, Lloyd and Elizabeth Roloson and by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Lester worked for the CNR for forty years. During his years in Palmerston, he served on Palmerston Town Council and Wellington County Council. He was a veteran of World War II and belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion, Frank Lambier Branch 409, Palmerston. Retired to Guelph in 1985, he was a member of Community of Christ Church, Guelph. Following cremation, a family graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. A special thank you to the staff of Royal Terrace for the compassionate care given to Lester and the family during the last months.
