Passed away at Wellington Terrace in Elora on November 20, 2021 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her parents Edith (nee Vickers) and Gordon Hopkins. Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband Otto Rohrwild (1987). Beloved companion of William (Bill) Sauer (2007) and lovingly remembered by his family Joanne and Ron Weiler of Elora, Bill and Valerie Sauer, Brian and Charmayne Sauer and Dianna and Bill McLellan all of Guelph. She was affectionately known as GG Pat to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also loved and will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Pat was a dedicated teacher throughout her whole career teaching primarily for the Wellington County Board of Education in Guelph. Her passion in teaching took her as far away as Germany. Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N. Guelph, Ontario where friends and family will be received on Thursday, November 25th from 1:00 – 2:30pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:30pm. Burial will be at Hanover Cemetery (95 7th St. Hanover Ontario) on Friday, November 26th at 11:00am. Due to COVID restrictions, guests must RSVP their attendance using the link below for the visitation and/or service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
