with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Ed on May 28, 2021 at the age of 81 years. Ed passed peacefully at Palmerston Hospital with family by his side. Left to mourn, but also to rejoice in his wonderful life is his wife of 62 years Mary (Rourke) Robinson. His children Blanche and her husband Barry Hymers, Les and his girlfriend Debbie Horton. His beloved grandchildren, Cody Hymers and his fiancée Amanda Tomlinson, Tyler Robinson, Kayla (Hymers) and her husband Matthew Johnston and his great granddaughter Claire Johnston. Ed is lovingly remembered by his brother in laws Clyde and Jennifer Rourke, and Tom and Barb Rourke and their families. Also remembered by Joanne and Dave Robinson and Debbie Robinson. Predeceased by his in-laws Marguerite and Elgin Rourke and sister in law Phyllis Rourke. Ed was the adopted son of Blanche and Leslie Robinson of Calgary. He is also remembered by his birth families the Ryan’s and the Frames (Byron), whom he had just recently found and was able to make contact with and also to visit. His wishes have been honored and he has been cremated and there will be a family celebration at a later time. Ed’s family can’t send enough gratitude to the wonderful caring nurses, doctors and staff at Palmerston District Hospital for the loving care that was provided to Ed over the past month. Their care and assistance made this difficult journey a little easier.
