Ritchie, Mary Margaret Irene: We said goodbye to our beautiful sister, Mary, on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Mary (Shortt) Ritchie in her 88th year, passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace, with family close by. Beloved wife of the late Isaac (Ike) Ritchie (2003). Loving sister of Elmer (Ioan) Shortt. Dear aunt of Kathy Shortt (Ted Oldfield), Keith Shortt (Cristina), Kevin Shortt (Jack Bond), Karen MacDougall (Colin) and Kelly Shortt (Kevin Brown). Survived by her sisters-in-law, Blanche Widdis (the late Bob), Mary Ritchie (the late Stewart), Betty Cunningham (Emerson) and many nieces & nephews on the Ritchie side. Predeceased by sisters-in-law, Ivy (the late Ivan Ritchie & Barton Doyle), Ileen (the late Keith Reilly) and Jean (the late Frank Giles). Mary was a long time member of Trinity United Church and a retired employee of Walkers Department Store. Friends called at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph Thursday, November 7th. Service was in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday November 8th.
