Revell, Steven Gerald; July 24 1947 – August 26 2013; Steve was blessed with a large assemblage of kind caring people throughout his life. These included his best friend and loving wife Donna (nee Fountain) and their two decidedly different and wonderful children, Brian and Peggy. He will be missed by the rest of the small Revell clan: brother Paul and his wife Lana and their children Jenna and Kyle; his uncle Hugh and his wife Norma, his cousins Mark and Karen and their families. The Fountain family of thirteen brothers and sisters and their extended families numbering over one hundred was always a source of support, kindness and companionship for more than 43 years. The Fountains always made Steve feel welcome. Steve enjoyed many friendships from his 32 year teaching career at both Alloa and Caledon Central Public Schools, including his students, their parents, and his teaching colleagues. Also numbered in his many friends were teammates, sports enthusiasts, history buffs, environmentalists, trail builders and hikers, EWCS volunteers, music lovers, old car aficionados, rail fans, and model railroaders. Steve enjoyed life to the fullest. He always believed a loving family and friends made that life so rewarding. Honouring Steve’s wishes, there will be no funeral. Donations in Steve’s memory may be made to the Elora Cataract Trailway, The Wellington County Historical Society, the Upper Credit Humane Society, Hospice Wellington, your local library, or simply plant a tree. Arrangements entrusted to Butcher Family Funeral Home, Erin, Ontario.
