RENNIE/WELLS, Marlene “Flo”. Passed away peacefully on February 25th, 2016 after a 35 year battle with her health. As a young mother of two, Marlene moved to Fergus with her children (Paul and Karen) to start her teaching career at CWDHS. Affectionately known as “Flo”, Marlene obtained her teaching degree, undergraduate degree while raising her children and teaching her business students at the Fergus High School. Marlene is proudly remembered by her children and grandchildren (Ryan and Julia) and daughter in law (Gabriela) as a woman of great courage and strength. As per her wishes, her remains were cremated and a private family memorial will take place at a later date. A CWDHS business scholarship is being established in Marlene’s memory and donations can be made to the Upper Grand Learning Foundation www.uppergrandlearningfoundation.com/contribute in her name, She will be greatly missed by the Gartley family and friends.
