Reilly, Royce Parker; passed away peacefully at Dufferin Oaks, Shelburne, Ontario on the 27th day of November 2009, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Lois Irvine (1994). Dear father of Gail and her husband Carl Montgomery and Sally and her husband Richard Baril. Loving grandfather of Derek Montgomery and Diana and her husband, Jeffrey Kocher. Remembered by brother Robert and his sister-in-law Edith. Predeceased by his parents, Norman and Lillian Reilly, brothers Earl and Clifford and sister-in-law Susan Reilly. He will be missed by long time employee Gerald Hattle and many nieces and nephews. Royce farmed for many years in East Luther Township, was involved in municipal politics in East Luther Township for several years and was Warden of the County of Dufferin in 1980. Visitation has taken place at Sime’s Funeral Home, 48 Main Street South, Grand Valley, on Monday, November 30, 2009 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 1-2pm, followed by service at Sime’s Funeral Home at 2pm and interment at Union Cemetery, Grand Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dufferin Oaks or to a charity of your choice.
