We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Francis Jean Ramage in the early hours of Monday, February 19th at Wellington Terrace in Fergus in her 96th year. She was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1994. Francis is survived by her sons, Robin (Linda), Jason (Bette), Scott (Bev), and Morgan (Cindy), seven grandchildren, Andy, Krista, Matthew, James, Maggie, Alexis, and Noah and seven great grandchildren Ryan, Josh, Meghan, Marley, Veronica, Hazel and Georgia. She will also be remembered by her special friends Debra, Gord, Glen, Gunner and Monique. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her for her hearty laugh and her stylish fashion sense. She will also be missed by the staff and her friends at Wellington Terrace where she received compassionate care and support right up to her last day with special thanks to Dr. John Stickney. At Mom’s request, there will not be a funeral and cremation has taken place. Her instructions were to have a remembrance “Party” for family and special friends, at a later date.
