POWER (Zinger), Brenda. Brenda was diagnosed with A.L.S early this year and passed away from complications of this disease on Monday, September 21, 2015. Beloved wife of Dennis Zinger. Dear mother of Caitlin Sweeting (Steve), Sean Leahy (Jennifer), Ryan Leahy (Alecia). Dear grandmother of Callum Sweeting and soon to be born baby Audrey Leahy. Loving daughter of Pat and Ann Power of Peterborough. Dear sister of Sheila O’Brien (George). Dear step-mother of Amy Stephens (Charlie), Lisa Armstrong (Mitchell), Deanna Zinger (Randy), Eric Zinger (Julia). Grandmother of Zoe, Fiona and Shea Stephens. Daughter-in-law of Wilfred Zinger. Sister-in-law of David Zinger (Lydia), Jim Luft (Tina), Julie Marshall (Scott). Missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother-in-law Grace Zinger and sister-in-law Debbie Luft. Brenda loved life and could light up a room with her vibrant personality. She was strong, kind, hardworking and a multi tasker, loved by family, friends and co-workers. Brenda’s family received relatives and friends on Saturday, September 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Sunday September 27th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Parish prayers were at 4 pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass 10 am on Monday, September 28th at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Elora, 267 Geddes St. Interment St. Mary and St. Joseph Cemetery Elora followed by a reception in the Elora Community Centre Hall, 29 David St. W., Elora.
