POVEY, Donna Elaine – February 3, 1948 – September 23, 2017. Donna passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the age of 69. Donna was an avid member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Fergus, in both the church choir and the Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a long time member of the Fergus Curling Club and the Fergus Thistles Senior Lacrosse Club. Donna is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Harold Povey, along with her siblings Shirley, John and Ron and her niece Carole. She is survived by her sister Mary and brother Bryan. Donna is also survived by nephews Paul Jennings, Jeremy and Michael Povey and David and Derek Povey. Cremation has taken place. At Donna’s request, there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life luncheon is being held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall on Tuesday October 3, 2017 at 2:00pm.
