Porter, Ruby Ethel Irene (nee Watson); Peacefully at Palmerston and District Hospital, Ruby went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday June 19th, 2014 in her 86th year. Devoted wife of Wesley Porter for 66 years. Loving mother of Bonnie Martin and her husband Howard of Elmira and Ken Porter and his wife Janice of Harriston. Ruby will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Julia and Ed Welsh, Jennifer and Kory Ronan, Joanne Martin, Keely Porter and Janessa Porter. Cherished great grandmother of 8. She is survived by her brother Harold Watson, his wife Kay and her sisters in law Barbara Watson and Marjorie Watson. She was predeceased by her sisters Annie Watson and Ruth Holbrook and her husband John and her brothers FT. Sgt. Howard Watson, Verdun Watson and Clarence Watson and his wife Gladys. Friends called at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday June 22nd from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service was held from Palmerston Evangelical Missionary Church, 550 Prospect St., Palmerston on Monday June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to time of service.
