It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at the age of 84. She was the wife of the late Harvey. Mother of the late Randy (Brenda). Grandmother of Jay (Linda) and Matt (Karen). Great grandmother of Riley, Natasha, and William. Sister of David (Nancy) Armstrong and Wilaby (Danny) Cotton. Jean worked at Imperial Tobacco for many years. She was a member of the Rockwood Trail Riders as well. Thank you to the staff at Eden House Retirement Home for her care the past year. Friends were received at Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 10:00am to 11:00am. Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Reception followed in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Arrangements entrusted to Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com). Memorial contributions to the Guelph Humane Society or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Jean M. Pettitt in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
